Description
This Work Package focuses on designing and implementing training and professional development to equip MENA HEI staff with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver modernized curricula and operate new lab units sustainably. It enhances academic staff competencies, provides opportunities for peer exchange with EU HEIs, and prepares future lab managers to operate and administer the lab units effectively
Objectives
- Design and implement training and professional development interventions to equip different target groups of the MENA HEIs with the necessary competencies, skills and knowledge to deliver the modernized curricula and operate the new lab units in high quality and ensure their long term sustainability.
- Enhance the competencies of the academic staff members of the MENA HEIs, to create high-quality, modern, and engaging curricula.
- Provide academic staff members of the MENA HEIs, responsible for teaching, with opportunities for training on teaching the newly developed courses and for knowledge exchange to review and discuss these courses with their peers at the EU HEIs (URCA, France and UNIBO, Italy).
- Equip future academic managers of the new lab units with the needed competencies to effectively operate and administer the lab units in a sustainable manner.
