Official Launch of the Erasmus+ e-Twin Project at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne
The University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA) will host the first physical consortium meeting of the Erasmus+ project e-Twin – Enhancing Higher Education in MENA through Digital Twin Innovation on 29 and 30 January 2026.
This event will mark the official kick-off of the project and will bring together all international partners involved in this ambitious initiative aimed at strengthening higher education in the MENA region through Digital Twin technologies.
Day 1 – Partner Presentations and Project Framework
The first day will begin with an opening session, setting the scientific, pedagogical, and strategic foundations of the e-Twin project.
This will be followed by a second session dedicated to partner presentations, with a special emphasis on:
- their higher education and research potential and practices,
- their specific expertise,
- and their roles and contributions within the e-Twin project.
The day will continue with a third session focusing on the operational aspects of the project, including:
- project management,
- monitoring and evaluation,
- financial reporting,
- and key technical details required for the effective implementation of project activities.
Day 2 – Work Package Presentations, On-Site Visit, and Next Steps
The second day will feature a fourth session, during which Work Package (WP) Leaders will present the objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes of their respective work packages.
A fifth session will include an on-site visit at URCA, offering participants the opportunity to exchange experiences, strengthen collaboration, and gain insight into the host institution’s facilities.
